I have been a La Leche League Leader since 2002.  In 2005, I was accredited as an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC).

I have breastfed three children successfully, but I have had my share of challenges to work through.

I initially experienced cracked, bleeding nipples with my first child (born at 35 weeks), and Barbara Dudley, RN, IBCLC, helped me breastfeed her comfortably.  I had low milk production with my third child, and I was helped by Diana West, IBCLC and author of Making More Milk: A Nursing Mother's Guide to Milk Supply and lowmilksupply.org.

I would like to give to other women the help that Barbara and Diana gave to me and my babies when we really needed it. 

Doing this work with mothers and babies is a calling for me, not just a job.  I feel honored to be a part of one of the most special times in a family's life.

Note: Mothers with partial milk supplies can breastfeed and still give their babies immunities and enzymes that help them digest formula supplements.  One teaspoon of breastmilk provides one million germ-fighting cells. 

Breastmilk can also be given through a bottle.  Mothers have made breastfeeding work through so many challenges.  Let me help you make it work for you and your baby!
